A public website designed for clear and practical access.

Our aim

Richards Group Limited wants visitors to be able to understand our services, explore workforce opportunities, review vacancies, and use the public website with common assistive and input technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility, and improvements will be considered as content and operational features develop.

Current accessibility features

The current public website uses semantic page landmarks, one principal page heading, descriptive section headings, responsive layouts, visible labels for form controls, accessible names for icon-only controls, keyboard-operable navigation and dialogs, visible focus indicators, and buttons implemented as standard interactive controls.

The site also provides a skip link, accessible dropdown states, focus management within the Start a Conversation dialog, responsive text and layouts, descriptive alternative text where images carry meaning, and reduced-motion behavior for visitors who express that preference. Scroll controls include accessible names and remain out of the keyboard order when hidden.

Forms and status messages

Current form interfaces provide visible labels, required-field indicators, field-related errors, and live status messages. Online submission and file-upload functionality are not currently available. Accessibility will remain a requirement for error, confirmation, attachment, and retry behaviour before those functions are activated.

Responsive access

The site is designed to reflow across desktop, tablet, mobile, and narrow mobile screens without requiring a separate mobile website. Navigation changes to an accessible menu where the horizontal layout no longer fits comfortably.

Known limits and continuing improvement

Accessibility can vary with browser, operating system, assistive technology, device settings, external linked services, and future content. This statement is not a claim of WCAG certification, perfect accessibility, universal compatibility, or legal certification. Richards Group Limited intends to review reported barriers and make reasonable improvements as the website and its services develop.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you experience difficulty using the public website, please email info@richardsgrouplimited.com. It is helpful to include the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, the nature of the difficulty, and the browser or assistive technology used where you are comfortable sharing it.

Please do not include passwords, banking details, unnecessary identification, or other sensitive information in an accessibility report.

Alternative access

If information on the website is not accessible in its current form, contact Richards Group Limited through the email above and describe the information or task you need. We will consider a practical alternative where reasonably possible without promising a particular format or response time.
